Read this amazing story of a man with a dream to start an organization to help rural African communities that have been strafed by war and famine to build beautiful, sustainable agricultural communities. When he first showed up, he was shown some land, and a burned out building with no roof. He only had enough money to offer $2 per day (in an area where the annual income is $100) and he expected 20 people to show up to help rebuild the roof. Word got out, and 800 people showed up for work. Now, the farm employs 600 people, and they eat an arguably better diet than most Americans.
